The Gunners are determined to secure the futures of their star players this summer with less than 15 months remaining on their current contracts, but negotiations have proved difficult and drawn out.
The representatives of Ozil and Sanchez are in regular contact, with reports claiming both players are demanding salaries in excess of £250,000-a-week.

“At the moment we do not have an agreement,” Wenger told beIN Sports.

Alexis is Arsenal’s top scorer in all competitions, with 22 goals and 15 assists in 37 games this season to make it his most prolific campaign since joining the club in 2014, while Ozil has struggled to maintain consistency following a series of injuries and illnesses through the campaign.
